As part of the switch-off of the traditional phone network (PSTN), we are introducing a new way to upgrade your internet connection to a more advanced and future-proofed broadband service. At the same time, you can transfer your PSTN/WLR number to Excel Communications.

This new process is called a SoGEA Number Transfer order, and it is available for businesses currently using PSTN/WLR connectivity services such as ADSL, FTTC, and Gfast. You can take advantage of this new process starting today.

If you have a Excel Communications PSTN/WLR3 line, you can email your number to us and we’ll check if you are eligible for upgrading to SoGEA. We have two options available for customers, either PhoneLine+ or Excel Connect, depending on your requirements.

Once your order is successful, you will receive a date when your internet connection will be upgraded to SoGEA, and your old PSTN number will be transferred to us at the same time.

How do I place a SOGEA Transfer order?

Call us on 03333 660 770 and we’ll be more than happy to tell you more and to book a transfer order on your behalf. Currently, we do not support third-party PSTN/WLR3 lines, but plan to add support in the near future.
